At KIZIL Electronics, we develop software based video encoding and decoding solutions. The products that we build, with our PikoTV encoding and decoding software, are what we call ‘Advanced Modular Systems’. As a part of this modular system, Quad SDI signal capture and playback are a must for UHD video streams. At this point, Bluefish444 Epoch | 4K Neutron SDI cards come as a reliable and affordable solution.
We use Linux in our products, and with Bluefish444 supplying a complete Linux SDK for development, we were able to develop UHD 50 fps 8 or 10-bit video capture and playback utilising 2 Epoch | 4K Neutron cards.
Our clients use PikoTV 4K Advanced Modular Encoders, which uses Bluefish444 Epoch | 4K Neutron cards for real-time UHD transmissions over satellite in such events as Fenerbahce SK - Lokomotiv Moscow UEFA Europa League via Snell Kahuna Video Mixer at Mediapro OBVan, and Arsenal - Barcelona UEFA Champions League via Novelsat NS3 IRDs located in TRT4K Ankara.
Currently TRT4K at Turksat 42E, Digiturk 4K at Eutelsat 7E and Nilesat 4K at Nilesat 7W use PikoTV 4K Advanced Modular Encoders for their broadcasting requirements.
Based on these successes, we are moving towards future collaborations. We recently reached an agreement with Turkey's Satellite Platform Turksat to co-develop products. Throughout this process, we always felt the full support of Bluefish444’s EU team. Without their instant ‘anytime’ support, we couldn't have achieved these outcomes as quickly as we have.
