Bluefish444 wins Epic MegaGrant to drive Lowest Latency 4K SDI & SMPTE IP I/O for Unreal Engine
North Melbourne, Australia, December 08th, 2022 – Bluefish444, manufacturer of the professional video industry’s highest-quality uncompressed video interface cards and signal converters receives MegaGrant from Epic Games.
Bluefish444 has received an Epic MegaGrant to drive the continued development of its 64-bit software plugin to Unreal Engine for highest quality and lowest latency multi-channel video/audio/data input and output for 3D graphics created in Unreal Engine.

Both Unreal Engine artists and 3rd party developers can soon access Epoch SDI and KRONOS 4K SDI and SMPTE IP interface cards from within Unreal Engine. Together Bluefish444 and Unreal Engine enable creative freedom, removing barriers to broadcast graphics, virtual set production, and virtual production techniques such as In-Camera VFX.
The Epic MegaGrant is a financial grant to creative, noteworthy, and innovative projects built in and around Unreal Engine, and to projects that enhance the open source 3D graphics ecosystem.
