Welcome to the next generation of Bluefish444, with the arrival of the KRONOS range of video, audio, and data processing I/O cards. Built with multi-channel 4K/UHD 60p, High Dynamic Range, and High Frame-Rate SDI for broadcast, production, post-production, immersive graphics, live events, streaming and more, the new KRONOS range is ready for anything that you can throw at it.
Multi-channel 4K/UHD on a single card for maximum flexibility
K8 features eight (8) bi-directional HD-BNC’s providing fully independent HD and UHD capture and playback. Each bi-directional video connector on the K8 is capable of 3G/HD/SD-SDI I/O bringing unrivaled flexibility and power to your video application.

K8 [R] comes standard with 4x3G/8x1.5G for multi-channel HD and a single channel of UHD, with the option to Licence Upgrade enabling 8x3G and multi-channel 4K/UHD.
Upgrade licence can be purchased any time within the card’s free 3 year warranty period.
Optional connectivity
Optional auxiliary I/O can be added to KRONOS K8 via the STEM port interface and optional EX-1 and EX-2 products. EX-3 provides dedicated LTC via Interlock IO.
FREE multi-channel capture tool, IngeSTore
Bluefish have developed IngeSTore as a multi-channel ingest tool, which will soon be available FREE with all K8 I/O cards. IngeSTore allows capture of up to 4 channels of video with independent format SDI sources simultaneously. Capture to QuickTime, AVI and DVCPRO50/HD codecs for free, with additional codecs available via licensing.
Unlimited 3 Year Warranty
All K8 video I/O cards come with an unlimited 3 year warranty.
Bluefish’s unlimited warranty and extremely low RMA rates are achieved by an industrial manufacturing process that meets the same exacting standards demanded by the US military for IT hardware manufacturing. The assembly process is regularly verified under audit by government bodies and has ISO 9001 accreditation.
