North Melbourne, Australia, September 12, 2017 – Bluefish444, manufacturer of the industry’s highest-quality uncompressed 4K SDI, ASI, Video Over IP & HDMI I/O cards, and mini converters, for the professional video industry, will be demonstrating its new IPConnect Video Over IP API, the KRONOS range of video and audio I/O cards, IngeSTore Server 3G, 4K SDI support for NewTek Connect Pro and its latest 3rd party software integrations at IBC Show 2017.

IPConnect will initially allow Bluefish444 customers to capture from existing SMPTE 2022-6 video sources, across 10Gb Network infrastructure. This 10Gb network can be accessed via a standard, off-the-shelf Network Interface Card (NIC), allowing the use of existing equipment alongside Bluefish444 SDI video hardware. As Video Over IP standards mature, and new technology emerges, these future standards and protocols will be added to this interface.

The KRONOS range expands the feature set of Bluefish444’s Epoch video cards, which support up to 4K 60p workflows. KRONOS was developed for additional workflows requiring Ultra HD up to 8K, high frame rates up to 120FPS, high dynamic range and Video Over IP.

IngeSTore Server 3G is a pre-configured 3RU ingest solution, capable of up to four channels of 3G/HD/SD-SDI compressed or uncompressed capture to networked shared storage, utilising the Bluefish444 Epoch | 4K Supernova S+ video I/O card.

All new and existing customers will have the ability to capture SMPTE 2022-6 Video Over IP streams directly within IngeSTore, Adobe Premiere® Pro CC and Avid Media Composer. This new support will be made available to both KRONOS and existing Epoch customers connected to SMPTE 2022-6 10Gb networks through standard off-the-shelf 10Gb Network Interfaces.

Collaboration between Bluefish444 and NewTek enables input and output of SDI video signals up to 4K 60p as part of an NDI-based IP workflow. This allows Bluefish444 installations globally to implement interconnectedmulti-channel HD, and Ultra HD production workflows comprised of SDI and IP-based technologies. The latest NewTek Connect Pro update also coincides with the release of NDI version 3.

Bluefish444 will be showing their latest hardware, software and 3rd party software integrations on stand 7.J07 at IBC Show 2017.
