Simultaneous IngeSTore and Avid Media Composer Edit-While-Record, and SDI to NDI conversion
North Melbourne, Australia, June 13, 2018 – Bluefish444, manufacturer of the professional video industry’s highest-quality uncompressed 4K SDI, ASI, Video Over IP & HDMI I/O cards and mini converters, will be demonstrating live Epoch SDI video I/O in an Edit-While-Record workflow with IngeSTore, Avid Media Composer, and NewTek Connect Pro at BroadcastAsia 2018.
Bluefish444’s complimentary multi-channel ingest tool, IngeSTore, supports Edit-While-Record within popular NLEs via the BlueCodecPack and BlueRT plugin. These Bluefish444 software licenses support editing a growing file within Avid Media Composer or Adobe Premiere Pro CC whilst it is being captured by IngeSTore software. IngeSTore can capture files into a range of formats, including free uncompressed and DVCPRO codecs, with DNxHD 10-bit, ProRes, H.264, Sony XDCAM, AVC-Intra and an optional JPEG 2000 codec available via the BlueCodecPack licence.
Bluefish444’s support for NewTek Connect Pro enables real-time input and output of SDI video signals up to 4K 60p as part of an NDI-based IP workflow. Connect Pro allows Bluefish444-powered installations globally to implement interconnected Ultra HD production workflows comprised of SDI and IP-based technologies. Bluefish444 will be demonstrating this SDI/NDI compatibility at BroadcastAsia 2018, utilising Epoch | 4K Neutron capturing a signal via SDI, converting it to NDI via NewTek's Connect Pro, and receiving the NDI signal to a NewTek TriCasterⓇ Mini.
