Sync VV Workstation

Sync VV Workstation Workflows

Vicon reference video recording system

It is possible to start or stop recording on the Sync VV system by using the UDP signal from the VICON Blade as a trigger. Recordings can also include embedded VICON Blade and timecode information.

Synchronised recording of up to 4 channels of reference video is possible using Sync VV. The timecode information from LTC can also be synchronised across all channels regardless of the signal resolutions or frame-rates.

Faceware facial video recording system

Up to 4 channels of crystal clear video suitable for reference output from a Faceware ProHD Headcam System and tracking with an Analyser can be recorded at the same time.

The native recorded file format is a 10/8-bit uncompressed codec, but this can be changed to the DNxHD codec if required, with other formats available in future.

Sync VV can record reference and tracking images synchronised with VICON Blade and timecode.

Portable Adobe or Avid 4K editing turnkey system

Sync VV uses a Bluefish444 video and audio I/O card, which is fully compatible with Adobe Creative Cloud and Avid Media Composer software, so it can be used as a 4K-compatible editing machine. Adobe Creative Cloud also supports capture of uncompressed 4K QuickTime formats. As it is a completely portable solution, it can be used on location or in any environment as a 4K recorder that can check and edit after recording, all on the same system.

Any software compatible with Bluefish444 hardware can be used to enhance any Sync VV workflow. A full list of Bluefish444-supported software can be seen here.
