Neutron provides unsurpassed image quality with a 12-bit processing pipeline for all 8/10/12-bit video modes included within 1.5G HD-SDI. The hardware design and cross-platform SDK have evolved from 10+ years of continuous development making it extraordinarily reliable. An MR2 Master Routing Resource alongside a customisable full-duplex asynchronous DMA Engine deliver unrivalled developer flexibility.
Neutron has by design the world's lowest-latency providing access to captured video frames with the shortest possible delay. A FIFO mode to protect against dropped frames, bypass relays and a watchdog timer allow developers to plan for the unexpected and ensure that the show does go on.
Switch between SDI & ASI
Neutron can capture, play-through and playout raw transport DVB ASI streams in addition to supporting SDI I/O. Neutron offers the flexibility to choose between capturing 2K/HD/SD SDI or ASI and similarly the flexibility to choose to playback either 2K/HD/SD SDI or ASI. That’s maximum transport flexibility for either live or file-based workflows.
Form-factor
Neutron range offers a variety of low-profile and full-height shield options allowing the same physical hardware to be deployed in any number of applications and inside any number of enclosures or chassis.
Neutron offers a full-height shield and optional connectivity making for ease of integration with traditional workstations and expansion chassis.
Neutron LP has a low-profile shield for installation in low-profile workstations and expansion chassis creating a highly-compact professional video solution available with optional connectivity.
Flexible, cross-platform SDK
The Bluefish444 Windows, Linux and macOS SDKs share a common API allowing developers to port from one platform to another with greater ease and efficiency. Other common development interfaces are available including DirectShow, Video4Linux 2 and Medialooks MPlatform.
Neutron comes with a free SDK and free integration support.
FREE multi-channel capture tool, IngeSTore
Bluefish444 have developed IngeSTore as a multi-channel ingest tool, which is available FREE with all Neutron I/O cards. IngeSTore allows capture of up to 4 channels of video with independent format SDI sources simultaneously. Capture to QuickTime, AVI and DVCPRO50/HD codecs for free, with additional codecs available via licencing.
