INGESTORE EDIT-WHILE-RECORD WORKFLOWS (EWR)

IngeSTore supports EWR workflows also known as growing files. EWR means that you can start editing your footage in Adobe Premiere Pro or Avid Media Composer, while your file is being captured live as a growing file.

There are three EWR workflows available;

  • An AMA plug-in-enabled QuickTime, MXF (OP-1A) and MP4 workflow for Media Composer using BlueCodecPack and the BlueRT software plug-in,
  • A QuickTime, MXF (OP-1A) and MP4 workflow for Premiere Pro using BlueCodecPack and the BlueRT software plug-in,
  • Native MXF (OP-1A) growing files supported by Adobe Creative Cloud using BlueCodecPack.

QUICKTIME, MXF (OP-1A) & MP4 EWR WITH AVID MEDIA COMPOSER & ADOBE PREMIERE PRO

For Media Composer or Premiere Pro NLE systems to access QuickTime, MXF (OP-1A) and MP4 video files while they are being recorded by IngeSTore, editors require:

  1. BlueCodecPack licence on the IngeSTore capture station to record the growing file formats, and
  2. BlueRT# plug-in for the Media Composer or Premiere Pro editing system to read the growing files being recorded by IngeSTore.

#When IngeSTore with BlueCodecPack and the NLE are installed on the same system, the BlueRT plug-in is not required. For all other QuickTime, MXF (OP-1A) and MP4 EWR workflows, you can purchase the BlueRT plug-in for the NLE from our web shop here.

Sony MXF XDCAM 422 50MB & MXF (OP-1A) AVC-INTRA 100 EWR WITH ADOBE PREMIERE PRO CC

The alternative EWR workflow for Premiere Pro is based on Adobe’s native growing file support for the Sony MXF XDCAM 422 50Mb and MXF (OP-1A) AVC-Intra 100 formats.

Editors will require the BlueCodecPack Licence on the IngeSTore capture station to write MXF XDCAM 422 50Mb and AVC-Intra 100 files for Premiere Pro to read natively for live editing of the growing files.
